New! Blog Video

Wow! After six months of editing and re-editing my free time away, I can proudly tell you that somewhere around the delirious hour of 2am last night I completed the final edit to my latest video project.  I'm beyond excited to share the Scotterpop Blog Video, a consolidation of all 220 of my blog posts and photography into a three minute photo story in an attempt to give you a closer look into my life and the moments that make it special. The cosmos in action

Break out the sunblock kids, it going to be a sunny weekend.  At about 7 pm Eastern Time on Tuesday, the surface of the sun was rocked by a massive explosion, ten million times more powerful than a volcanic explosion on Earth. And about an hour later, it exploded again. Now, two waves of charged plasma are streaming toward our planet at about four million miles per hour, threatening to knock out satellites and induce unwanted currents on power grids around the globe today. This raw footage of our sun's swirling surface not only sheds light on Earth's vulnerability, but fuels my obsession with all things cosmos.

Super stoked some of my photos made it in San Francisco Magazine’s March fashion issue, spotlighting SF boutiques that create personal, hyperlocal lookbooks! The magazine tagged along a photoshoot I shot for menswear line, Welcome Stranger back in December and staged the above photo of me and my team hard at work! And although I’m less enthusiastic of the photo they chose of me looking slightly awkward in my fashion-backward hoodie, the feeling of my own photos nestled comfortably in the middle of a magazine trumps any of my insecurities.
