Free Time

I'm sporting new wrist swag courtesy TokyoBay.  They have a great assortment of watches plus some pretty cool toy robot clocks that are definitely worth your interest if you or anyone you know has retro kitsch on the wish list this year.  Above I'm wearing the Military Watch in Grey, it comes in green and black but the grey one caught my eye because of its subtle yet masculine design features.  I like the heavy-duty nylon straps and large stainless steel face with hints of slate and blue (my favorite colors).

Was contemplating where to take these photos during my Thanksgiving break, then realized last minute I could shoot them at my desk using the light from my computer screen and various desktop decor to bounce and reflect what light I had.

*Fun fact, watches in advertisements almost always read 10:10 because the hands are aesthetically balanced and more satisfying than if the hands looked like they were frowning.  Their position also draws your eyes to the center of the face where the company puts their logo or name, like TokyoBay.
